What is Let's Carpool?

Let's Carpool is a phone and web app that makes event transportation totally convenient.

The Problem: Today, the most convenient way to coordinate rides to the same event is through WhatsApp groups, email chats, texts, and phone calls. But none of those were built for this — messages get buried, you can't see the carpools or who's in them, and there's no searchability.

The Solution: Let's Carpool combines event-based and friend-based Groups (like WhatsApp) with Connections (like LinkedIn) to make carpooling convenient, social, and safe.

How does it work?

Let's Carpool helps event organizers and guests easily coordinate shared rides.

The event host (for example, someone planning a wedding) creates a Group in the app, such as "Rose Wedding — Passaic to Lakewood," and shares the group code with guests via WhatsApp, email, or even on the invitation itself.

Guests join the Group using the code, where they can:

Find available carpools posted by others
Offer a ride by creating their own carpool
Coordinate directly with other attendees going to the same event

Multiple Groups can be created for different locations (e.g., "Monsey to Lakewood"), making it easy for guests to find the best option for where they're coming from.
